The Verona Peach and Nectarine PGI originates in an area with a long fruit-growing tradition, where climate and expertise foster certified quality production.

Grown exclusively within the area recognised by the PGI product specification, peaches and nectarines are harvested at the right degree of ripeness to preserve their aroma, sweetness and juiciness. The certification protects their origin and highlights a production that represents the excellence of Veronese fruit growing and the finest Italian tradition.

The Verona area offers ideal conditions for the cultivation of yellow-fleshed peaches, white-fleshed peaches and yellow nectarines, in their early, mid-season and late varieties, including Rich May, Royal Glory, Kaweah, Maria Bianca, Michelini, Big Top, Venus and Sweet Lady. This varietal heritage ensures an extensive, high-quality production throughout the entire season. Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand in multiple passes, selecting each fruit at the exact moment it expresses its qualities to the fullest.
