The product specification includes the Abate Fetel, Conference, Decana del Comizio, Kaiser, Max Red Bartlett, Williams, Carmen and Santa Maria varieties, which are an expression of the area's long-standing pear-growing tradition. The selected cultivars are harvested at the right degree of ripeness and stored using techniques that keep their freshness, texture and quality intact.
